Major Enos Artman

Artman's rich history began with the vision of Major Enos Artman, a merchant, Civil War officer, and Lutheran, who dreamed of a place where people could come together and live in peace and fulfillment. In 1916, his generous bequest made his dream a reality with the founding of Artman Home. More than 85 years later, through the dedication of board members, administration, staff and volunteers, his legacy lives on. Currently, more than 180 residents call Artman 'home'.
